Ada Martha Morgan (nee Winchester), age 85, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, after a brief illness.
She was born on October 31, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio. She had then moved to Lorain in 1956 from Cleveland.
Ada enjoyed reading, crocheting, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Richard Morgan, of Sheffield Village, 2 daughters; Sally Morris, of Lorain and Pat Berrington, of Amherst, 15 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson, and 1 sister, Mary Chilton, of Pleasant Hill, CA.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Morgan, a son Edward, 2 daughters; Carol and Katherine in infancy, 3 Grandchildren, and a brother, Norman Winchester.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Charles Keesee, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, Elyria, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
