Adelaida Ramos, 94, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland following a short illness.
Born October 17, 1921 in Florida, Puerto Rico, she moved to Cleveland in 2007.
Adelaida was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew and garden. She also enjoyed reading, playing on electronics and crafts.
Surviving is her son, Victor Pomales of Fajardo, Puerto Rico; daughters, Maria E. Pomales-Lopez of Cleveland, Haydee Dingus of Lorain and Milagros Baker of Marion, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Margarita Santiago of Lorain, Maria Ramos of New Mexico and Carmen Figueroa of Knoxville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo and Maria (Nee Vazquez) Ramos; a daughter, Rosa Pomales; and 6 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am at House of Praise International Church; 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
