Agnes R. Kopco (nee Krawczyk), 89, of Lorain, passed away with her family at her side on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, Avon, following a short illness.
Born June 5, 1925 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life.
Agnes worked as a seamstress at Joseph & Feiss Company and Dalton Industries both in Lorain. She also worked at JC Penney in downtown Lorain and Higbee's in Elyria.
She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lorain. Agnes loved caring for her family. She took great pride in her home, enjoying yard work and house work.
Surviving are her sons, Ronald E. (Lisa) Kopco of Westlake, and Dennis J. (Susan) Kopco of Amherst; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason, Marissa, Michael and Kevin; 3 great grandchildren; and her nieces, Pauline Furr and Dr. Carol Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Albert P. Kopco in 1999; a son, Albert M. Kopco in 1994; her sister, Blanche Fundak; and brothers, Bernard Krawczyk and Joseph Krawczyk.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the care that Agnes received through Avon Oaks Nursing Home and Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
