Amador Garcia-Gonzalez

Amador Garcia-Gonzalez, age 54, of Ponce, Puerto Rico, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born June 15, 1967, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Amador spent a lot of time over the years in both Lorain and Ponce. He graduated in 1985 from Escuela Superior Alfredo Aguayo.
He enjoyed traveling, mechanics and construction. He liked to pride himself on being able to make deals. And above all, Amador loved serving the Lord.
He is survived by children, Damaris Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Maria Garcia, Amador Garcia, Carlos Garcia, and Edith Garcia; grandchildren, Dithmarie, Henry, Joenid, Edithesther, Coralise, and Catalina; his parents, Amador Garcia-Burgos and Milagros Gonzalez-Rosario. He was the oldest of 7 siblings, Luis A. Garcia, Silvia M. Garcia, Melvin Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Daniel Garcia, and Gabriel Garcia.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
