Ana Rivera

Ana Rivera, age 87, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, following a short illness.

Born May 13, 1934 in Catalina, Puerto Rico, she moved to Lorain in the early 1950s.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain.  In 1990 she moved to Florida with her husband until they returned to Lorain in 2015.

Surviving are her sons, Herson of Lorain, David (Bonnie) of Denver and John (Tari) of Cleveland; daughters, Roxanna Rivera and Elva Rivera both of Lorain, and Carmen Rivera of Florida; sixteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carmelo S. Rivera as well as her parents, Juan and Maria Calderon.

Private services were held.  Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.
