Ana I. Rosario, age 56, of Lorain, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in the emergency room at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 7, 1957 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, and lived in Lorain for the past 6 years. She was a member of Casa de Dios el Faro. Ana enjoyed spending time with her family and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jose L. Lopez, of PR, her son, Alejandro Rodriguez, of PR, daughter, Jennifer Rodriguez, of Lorain, 2 grandchildren; Irislyani Rivera and Jey M. Rivera, both of Lorain. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Francisco and Cecilia (nee Rodriguez) Rosario.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14th, from 4-6 pm, at the Casa de Dios el Faro, 3334 Wilson Street, Lorain, where a service will be held at 5:30 pm. The Rev. Alexandra Torrijos, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place in Puerto Rico. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling arrangements.
