Andrew J. "Andy" Ochrin

Andrew J. “Andy” Ochrin, age 55, of Smithville, Ohio, passed away at his residence unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Born May 20, 1967, in Lorain, he has lived in Lorain, Ashland, and Wayne Counties.  Andy graduated in 1986 from Southview High School, Lorain.  He worked at BleachTech in Seville, Ohio, as a chemical technician for 18 years.

Andy was a member of Erie Shores Jeeps and 4x4.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren, off-roading, and mechanical work.

Surviving is his daughters, Andrea (Christopher) Oles of Wellington and Rachel (Dallas) Hudnall of Huntington, West Virginia; his mother, Cheryl (David) Garl of Lorain; brother, Steve Ochrin of Vermilion; and sister, Christina “Chrissy” (Mindy) Olson of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Ochrin in 1999; and brother, Timothy in 2016.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15^th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
