Angel A. Dozier

Angel Ann Dozier (nee Igoe), age 63 of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.

Born September 25, 1960 to Robert and Elizabeth (nee Carter) Igoe in Jasper, Tennessee, Angel moved to Lorain with her family at an early age.  She lived in Lorain most of her life and graduated from Lorain High School.  Following high school, Angel attended LCCC and later worked as a manager for several retail companies in the area, including the Salvation Army, Dollar General and Goodwill.

She loved arts and crafts, including coloring and drawing.  She especially enjoyed taking walks with her family and enjoyed a special bond with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children: Todd Merry, Jayson Merry, Christopher Jewells and Katelyn Tomcso; father: Robert Igoe; grandchildren: Jayson Jr., Robert, Scarlette, Tyler, Summer, Aiden, Aurora and Hailey as well as her siblings, Carrie, Emma, Joy, Robert Jr., Jason, Mark, Debbie and Chris. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Igoe.
