Angel M. Rivera, 78, of Lorain, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Lorain.
Born March 10, 1929 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, he lived in Manhattan, NY, and Philadelphia, PA, before coming to Lorain in 1995.
He worked as a golf caddy and bus boy for a country club in Philadelphia. He also was a self employed fruit vendor, carpenter and painter. He was active at el Dorado Senior Center, Lorain, and enjoyed golfing, playing the guitar and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Rivera in 1950 and Simona (nee Santos) Rivera in 1936.
Visitation Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. In lie of flowers, donations can be made to the Callistian Guild, P.O. Box 605125, Cleveland, OH 44105. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfuneralhome.com
