Anita Clark

Anita Clark, age 84 of Lorain, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024 at New Life Hospice following a lengthy illness.

Born July 15, 1939, to Norman and Lena (nee Columbo) McManigle in Blasdell, New York, Anita graduated from Lake Shore Central High School in 1957.  She later received her Associate degree in Nursing from Lorain County Community College.  For 45 years she worked as a registered nurse at the hospitals in the Lorain area, the last being Elyria Memorial Amherst Hospital where she retired in 2009.  She was also a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish.

She enjoyed stained glass, leatherworking, and photography.

Surviving are her children, Beverly (Dennis) King, Charles Clark, Mark (Cinthia) Clark and Dwight (Peggy) Clark as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sisters, Norma Pinchard and Shirly Wozniak.

Services will be held at a later date.  Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists handled the arrangements.
