Anita J. Earls, (nee Maynard), age 73, of Lorain, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a short illness.
She was born November 19, 1931 in southern Ohio, and had lived in Lawrence County before settling in Lorain in 1947.
Anita was the co-owner and acting president of Fastway Inc. in Lorain since 1968. Prior to this, she worked for Ohio Engineering in Lorain as a bookkeeper.
She enjoyed reading.
Surviving is her husband of 51 years; Thomas Earls, a son, Thomas D Earls of Amherst; a daughter, Beth Ann Wise of Troy, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Frank Maynard of Amherst, and Paul Maynard of Syracuse, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Maynard and Icye (nee Kidder) Maynard, and her brother, Dale Maynard in 2005.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, handled private services for the family.
