Anna Marie (Honaker) Monk, affectionately known as Annie passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024 at the age of 68. She was born on September 21, 1955 in Norwalk, Ohio.
Annie was a Mom, grandmother and sister. Although we greatly mourn her passing, we know that she is now rejoicing in her heavenly home with Jesus and those who have gone on before her.
Annie is predeceased by her mother, Roberta (Cherry) Honaker and her father, Robert Lee Honaker. She is survived by her two sons, John Muth (Deborah), Joshua Mcfarland (Bonnie), granddaughters, Emily Muth and Jessica Tipton, and two great-grandsons, Jareth and Jamison, three younger sisters, Linda Honaker, Sarah (Dan) Jacobs, Joy (Joe) Agosto, a beloved lifelong friend and cousin, Elena (Cherry) Zarate, one surviving Aunt, Nancy Cherry, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Annie grew up on Maple Ridge Road outside of North Fairfield, Ohio, She had many fond memories of times spent with family, especially at her grandparent’s home, on Walnut Road. Each summer they hosted a large gathering of family from all over the country. She had fond memories of blackberry picking, babysitting her neighbor’s children during high school and learning culinary arts at her alma mater, Ehove Career Center in Milan, Ohio. Annie spent most of her adult years in Ohio. Most notably living in Galion, Sandusky, and most recently Toledo.
A celebration in memory of Annie will be held on Saturday, April 27th at the United Methodist Church, 105 W. Main Street, North Fairfield, Ohio. Visitation will begin at 12pm, followed by a service at 12:30.
