Anna Rumack, (nee Woronchak) age 91, died on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a two week illness.
She was born on October 20, 1917 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
Anna was a member of the Ss Peter & Paul Orthodox Church. She enjoyed her family, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter: Nadine Kacsandy (Joseph), of Vermilion, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and sister: Katherine Babich, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1975, daughter, Nancy McMillen in 1984, son, Robert in 1996, brothers, William Woronchak in 2007, Nicholas Woronchak in 1940, and sisters, Mary Kucharek in 1985 and Emily Cataldo in 1996.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 6-9 p.m.where a parastas service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Very Rev. Basil Stoyka, pastor of Ss Peter & Paul Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
