Annette L. McIe (nee Grimm), age 43, of Lorain, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011, at her home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 17, 1968, in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life. She was a 1987 graduate of Lorain High School. She was employed at numerous places, including; IHOP, Cracker Barrel, Wal-Mart, and was a manager at Taco Bell in Amherst. Annette was a member of the First Community Church of God, Lorain.
She devoted her life and enjoyed taking care of her children.
Annette is survived by her husband, Troy, children; Cynthia A., Joshuwa A., and Nickolus A., all at home, her parents, Merle D. and Annie R. (nee Williams) Grimm, brothers; Merle E., of Brookshire, TX, John C., of Chipewa Lake, OH, and Melvin K., of Lorain, her sisters; Brenda F. Grimm Gringle, of Elyria, and Julia A. Forester, of Lorain, her 14 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friend and caretaker, Lou Traxler.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Irene and Carl Williams and Zana and John Grimm.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio, is handling arrangements
