Anthony A. "Tony" Davis, age 28, of Lorain, passed away tragically on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
He was born on March 4, 1988 in Lorain, where he lived his entire life. He was a 2006 graduate of Admiral King High School. After high school, he attended the Water Proofers' and Roofers' Local 44, where he worked very hard to obtain his Journeyman's card in 2006. He was proudly employed at Sibley Roofing based in Elyria. He was a member of the Union Local 44.
Tony's life revolved all around his wife and beautiful daughters. They truly were his greatest joy. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his bike.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Melissa, his two daughters; Adrianna and Alexis, parents; David A. and Cheryl A. (nee Diersen) Davis, his brother, David, sister, Marcella, grandmother, Carroll Davis, and grandfather, Alan Diersen. Tony will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Diersen, and grandfather, Nelson Davis.
The family will receive friends on August 11, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am. Pastor Jeffery Smale, of Victory Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
Donations may be made to any First Merit Bank. A memorial fund has been set up under his name, Anthony A. Davis, and the funds will be left to his two young daughters.
