Barbara H. Larson (nee Hogan), age 73, of Lorain, died on Monday, June 30, 2008, at her residence, after a sudden illness.
She was born on June 1, 1935, in Newark, NJ. She resided in Whippany, NJ for many years before moving to Lorain 14 months ago. She was an Insurance Clerk before retiring.
Barbara is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline (Thomas) Matthews, of Shaker Heights and Joanne (Joseph) Connolly, of Strongsville, her6 grandchildren; Michael, Megan, and Catherine Connolly, and Patrick, Michaela, and Conor Matthews, and her brother, Martin Hogan, of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Larson, and her parents; Martin A. and Barbara (nee Bauer) Hogan.
The family will hold private services. Burial will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
