Beatrice Mae Martincin (nee Wressell), age 78, of Sheffield Village, died on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at her home under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born on May 10, 1928 in Lorain, where she lived until 1988, then moving to Sheffield Village.
She attended Lorain High School. She worked at Pick-n-Pay for 13 years, retiring in 1978. Mrs. Martincin was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain. She was a 30 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Richard; 3 sons, Anthony M. Hoholski, of Vermilion, Kenneth J. Hoholski of Lorain, and Wayne C. Hoholski, of Winter Park, FL; and her daughter, Judith Ann Strauser, of Sheffield Village; step sons, Richard Martincin of Vermilion, Daniel Martincin of Mansfield, and William Martincin of Amherst; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; brother, Fred Wressell of Birmingham; 2 sisters, Avonelle Webster, of Hibbing, Minnesota, and Donna Hartman, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony W. Hoholski in 1985; parents, Harold Wressell in 1977 and Doris (nee Heys) Howard in 1987; step father, James Howard in 2002; her brothers, Charles Wressell in 1996, and Harold Wressell in 1990.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with an A.A. service at 5:30 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Joseph West, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
