Beatrice "Bea" Mulkey, (nee McKinney), age 76, of Lorain, died on Friday, September 12, 2008 at her home.
She was born on March 8, 1932 in Pike County, Kentucky, moving to Lorain in 1955.
Bea was a sister in Christ and had great faith in the Lord.
She enjoyed playing bingo, watching t.v. and being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, crocheting and sewing. She was also a great cook and avid fisher.
She is survived by her daughters: Nancie Adkins, Lisa Dabrowski, Bonnie Mulkey, all of Lorain Linda Mathes, of Virginia, and Matilda Hall of Kentucky, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers: Scott McKinney, of NC, Burt McKinney of Avon Lake and Don McKinney of Amherst, sisters: Eleanor Adams, Kathy Spicer, both of Elyria and Marie Thacker of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years: Marvin F. Mulkey in 1999, parents: Richard and Martha (nee Stevens) Mulkey, sons: John and Richard, daughter: Brenda, grandson: Michael Wright Jr. and great grandson: Noah White and brothers, Henry, Ronald & Richard McKinney.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 noon at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp, Ohio. Robert Bjelica, pastor of Seventh Day Adventist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
