Berdell A. Abbott

Berdell "Bert" Abbott, died suddenly on Monday, June 20, 2011, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 4, 1953 in Bay Village, Ohio. Bert is a 1971 graduate from Brookside High School. He attended Ohio State University for two years.
He was employed in the customer service dept. of Lowe's in Avon.
Bert enjoyed golfing, and loved hanging out with his grandson.
Bert is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lori (nee Ruth), his daughter, Meagan and grandson, Robert Ruth all of Lorain, sister, Beth Nupp of Louisville, OH and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Berdell and Elizabeth (nee Lenner) Abbott.
A memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Ashland Avenue, Lorain, where services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Gary Georgi, will officiate.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
