Betty Pack (nee; Grimmett), age 67, of Lorain, died on Sunday, November 19, 2006, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, after a brief illness.
She was born on November 14, 1939 in Sand Lick, West Virginia, moving to Lorain 46 years ago.
She was a member of the Family Worship Church, North Ridgeville.
Betty was a devoted housewife and enjoyed being a mom and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers, collecting nick-knacks and all sorts of other items, and going shopping. She especially enjoyed vacationing and defiantly going to Disney World.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dallas C. Pack, her 3 sons; Danny (Diane), of Avon Lake, David (Sandra), of Lorain, and Charles "Chuck", of Kansas City, MO, her 5 grandchildren; Nicole and Joshua, (of Danny), and William, Michael, and Susan, (of David), 2 brothers; Raymond, of West Virginia and Lee, of Virginia, and a sister, Ina Clark, of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Okie and Eskie (nee; Hatfield) Grimmett, her brothers; Joe, James, and Namon Grimmett, and her sisters; Myrtle Hatfield, Louise Wortman, Vicie Bryant, and Nancy Grimmett.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2006, at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held the following day, Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Family Worship Church, 6505 Stoney Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039. The Rev. Terry Kinder, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, Avon.
