Betty Lou Pollack, (nee Doza), age 63, of Lorain, died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at The Renaissance, in Olmsted Falls, OH, following complications of Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born on December 15, 1948 in Lorain. She had lived in Medina County for quite a few years, before finally moving back to Lorain.
She was a 1966 graduate of Admiral King High School. She attended Lorain County Community College.
Betty Lou was employed as a bank teller for over 20 years at City Bank.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. She enjoyed gambling and bowling.
She is survived by her aunt: Helen Romancik and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years: William E. Pollack and parents: Louis and Elizabeth (nee Toth) Doza.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 10:00 am until the time of Divine Liturgy at 11:00 a.m., at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 2711 W. 40th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44053. Rev. Fr. Nicholas Rachford, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, will handle the arrangements.
