Betty J. Williams (nee Oswalt), 74, of Lorain, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1942 in Elyria, she lived in Lorain her entire life.
She was a member of former Vincent United Methodist Church, Elyria.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Louis J. Williams; daughters, Terri Ranney of Lorain and Tracie Dunfee of Lorain; 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Viola (nee Hartman) Oswalt; brothers, Wilbert Oswalt and Joseph Oswalt.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until the time of services at 4:30 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Chris LaLonde will officiate. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfuneralhome.
