Beverly Jean Incociati, (nee Thomas), age 68, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at her residence, while under the care of New Life Hospice, following a prolonged illness.
Born on July 3, 1936 in Taylor, Pennsylvania, she had lived in the Vermilion and Lorain areas since 1986. She previously traveled extensively with her husband who was in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Beverly was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Vermilion. She was in charge of the Caring Hands Volunteer Program for 10 years at Lorain Community Hospital. She was also a member of the Community Health Partners Auxiliary, Lorain. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Raymond, of Lorain, son: Michael J. Incociati, of Long Beach, CA, daughter: Angela J. Folley, of Vermilion, sisters: Patricia Tinklepaugh, of Lorain, Sarah (Sally) Healey, of Arkansas, Evelyn (Marlene) Johnson, of Vermilion, Barbara Lindner, of Elyria, and Lori Nagy, of Lorain, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Evelyn (nee Watson) Thomas, and two brothers: Harry and Bobby.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2004 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, Coen and W. Lake Rd. Vermilion. Rev. James Cox, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
