Bobbie A. Mounts Sr., age 57, of Lorain, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center West, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on April 13, 1947 in Landomines, West Virginia, living in Lorain most of his life.
Bobbie was employed as a Chief Civil Engineer for ICCI Indonesian Consortium of Construction Companies incorporated in Saudi Arabia for 10 years, traveling internationally with different companies.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain.
He enjoyed singing.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Marian (nee Flores), sons, Sean and Daniel, both of Lorain; daughters: Marian Mounts, Stephanie Mounts-Lucas, and Jessica Mounts, all of Lorain, 10 grandchildren and brothers: Harley Wolfe, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Darrell Mounts, of Kentucky, Amos Mounts, of West Virginia, Steven Mounts, of Kentucky and Robert Mounts, of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his son: Bobbie A. Mounts, Jr. in 1995, parents: Amos Mounts and Sylvia (nee Chapman) Mounts, and a brother.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 from 7-9:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
