Boomer Riley

Boomer Riley, age 60, of Lorain, passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Born September 29, 1963, in Cleveland, he was raised in Sheffield Lake, later moving to Lorain.

On March 27 of this year, he and his wife, Shelly (nee Smithberger), who meant the world to him, celebrated their 42nd anniversary.

Boomer was so proud to be a father and provider to his children, Matt of Amherst and Nicole Phoenix of Lorain. He loved his grandchildren, Sabeion, Nicholas, and Julia, with all his heart.

Boomer loved music, was a huge movie fan, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He loved golf and was a great bowler. Also, he loved his pets, and his favorite thing to do was go on rides with his wife to feed the deer.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
