Carmen L. Flecha

Carmen L. Flecha, a beloved soul whose life was adorned with faith, kindness, and warmth, peacefully departed from this world on June 25, 2024, in Lorain, Ohio. She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, on May 15, 1932, to Eliadio Rivera and Julia Rodriguez.

 Throughout her journey on this earthly realm, Carmen held a deep love for her faith and spirituality. She found solace and purpose in attending church services at Templo Emmanuel, immersing herself in the teachings of the Bible, and devoutly worshipping God. Her unwavering devotion to her beliefs illuminated the path she walked with grace and compassion.

 A woman of remarkable character, Carmen's gentle spirit and welcoming nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her presence brought comfort like a warm embrace, and her smile radiated a sense of peace that transcended words. In addition to her devout spiritual practices, Carmen found joy in simple pleasures such as watching television, including baseball and wrestling as well as listening to music, sewing, and serenading others with her melodious voice.

 Carmen's legacy is carried on by her surviving family who cherished her dearly. She is remembered fondly by her children, Waldemar Flecha, Edgar Flecha, and Lillian Rivera; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren as well as her brothers, Hector Enrique Rivera and Efrain Rivera.

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Diego Flecha; both of her parents as well as her sisters, Ana, Victoria, Gladys, Julia and Hayde.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 3 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Templo Emmanuel, 4230 Clinton Avenue, Lorain. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.

 May she find everlasting peace in the arms of God's embrace as we bid farewell to a beautiful soul who has left an indelible mark on our hearts.
