Carol A. Vrabel, age 62, of Lorain, died on Friday, September 25, 2009 at her residence, following a sudden illness.
She was born on August 21, 1947 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
She was a 1965 graduate of Admiral King High School.
Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Carol was employed for 23 years as a presser for Wayne's Dry Cleaners. Prior to this she worked as a cook and cashier at Hardees Restaurant, Lorain for 5 years.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brothers, Richard John (her twin) of Sheffield Lake, Robert Francis of Elyria, sister, Barbara Jean Kramer, of Norwalk and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John in 1967 and Mary (Pogrozelski) Vrabel in 2002.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. mass at Nativity BVM Catholic Church. Her cousin, Rev. Fr. George Vrabel, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Berea, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
