Carolyn S. Ceol (nee Jaworski), age 65, of Lorain, passed away peacefully after losing her battle with cancer, on February 28, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on January 31, 1952, in Sellersville, PA and moved to Lorain when she was young. She was a 1970 graduate of Admiral King High School. After graduation she went to work in the dietary department at Lorain Community Hospital, where she actually met her future husband, Mark. Most recently, she was employed as a monogramist at Rebman's Recreation. She worked closely with the Rebman family for over 36 years, even assisting with coordinating some of their golf outings.
Carolyn devoted so much time and love to her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling with them. During the summers, she spent her time tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. When she had any free time available, she enjoyed going on her bus trips for cancer awareness groups and consignment shopping.
Carolyn will be dearly missed by her husband of 43 years, Mark A., daughters; Christina (James) Jesko, of Amherst and Corin Ceol, of Lorain, her 3 cherished grandchildren; Jacob, Nyah, and Maren, mother, Anastasia Kurdiaka, sisters; Cathy Gallie and Sophie Collins, and a brother, John Jaworski.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Jaworski, step-father, Dmytro Kurdiaka, and a brother, Barry Jaworski.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, March 4, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, at the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44055.
