Carolynn Ashworth

Carolynn Ashworth (nee Walker), age 77, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village.

Born March 17, 1946 to Gordon and Geraldine (nee Jacopine) Walker in Lorain, Carolynn lived in the Lorain area most of her life.  She graduated from Brookside High School and was a caregiver for 20 years. 

She was very knowledgeable with trivia, often winning trivia questions on the radio.  Carolynn also loved Cleveland sports, especially the Indians and Browns. 

Surviving is her sister, Leslie Anne (Alan) Hladis; nephews, Michael and Jeffrey; grandniece, Rachel as well as her cousins who were like her sisters, Cindi Hodnick and Rhonda (Terry) Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ashworth; both of her parents, as well as her sister, Paulette Walker.
