Casmira T. "Kay" Sescila (nee Kowalczyk), age 95, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on August 27, 1920 in Lorain, where she has been a lifelong resident. Kay was employed as a drill press operator at General Industries for 25 years, retiring in 1961. She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nephew Michael Pearl, of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael P. Sescila in 1992, parents; Frank and Stella (nee Dembek) Kowalczyk, sister, Stella Pearl in 2010, and 2 other sisters, and 7 brothers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22 from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Deacon Robert J. Dybo, of Nativity of the BVM Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
