Cathryn T. Placidi (nee Turner), of Lorain, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Normandy Manor, Rocky River, after a short illness.
She was born on March 18, 1923, in Stuart, Virginia. She had moved to Lorain in 1953, where she has lived until her recent illness.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, and listening to music.
She is survived by her daughters; Cynthia Rohrs, of Sylvania, Ohio, Donna Placidi, of Lorain, and Kathleen Placidi d'Entremont, of Lynchburg, Virginia, and one grandson, Christopher Rohrs, of Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Pete A., on November 30, 2004, her parents, William Rufus and Evelyn (nee Staples) Turner, and her brother, Thomas Turner.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
