Cecelia "Tillie" Bernas

Cecelia "Tillie" Bernas, (nee Baginski), age 89, of Lorain, died on Friday, August 19, 2011, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 10, 1922 in Lorain, where she has been a lifelong resident.
Tillie was employed at the Lorain Board of Eduation as a cook for 19 years.
She was a member of Church of St. Peter.
She is survived by her son: Richard Bernas, of Cincinnati, daughters: Cheryl Ramer, of Avon, Joyce Binder of Troy, MI, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Stanley J. in 1991.
Family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until mass at 10:00 a.m. at Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Fr. Craig Hovanec, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
