Cecilia E. Bailey

Cecilia E. "Lucille" Bailey, (nee Jasinski), age 88, of Lorain, died on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph Residential Center, following a brief illness.
She was born on November 19, 1924 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident until moving to Elmcroft Assisted Living 3 years ago.
She was a 1943 graduate of Lorain High School. Lucille was employed at Lorain Works US Steel for 43 years as a clerk in the Pipe Mill accounting department.
She currently was a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church and was a prior life member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Paduan Travelers.
She enjoyed traveling and shopping. She also was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan, as well as Ohio State fan.
She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Rak, of Lorain, Debora Aydelott, of Houston, TX; 2 grandchildren; Melanie Rak and Alex Aydelott, brother, Peter J. Jasinski, of Amherst; sister, Ann Kolenda, of Amherst.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Craig A. Rak, Jr., brothers; Anthony, Victor, Edward and Joseph, sisters; Sophie Loder, Sr. Mary Maxine, sisters of St. Joseph 3rd order of St. Francis, Helen Lasky, Rosemary Adams, and her parents; Alexander and Louise T. (nee Sienkiewicz) Jasinski.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Wed. at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. mass at Nativity BVM Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Robert Glepko, pastor will officiate.
