Cesareo Pagan Delgado, age 86, of Grafton, and formerly of Lorain, died on Friday, May 25, 2007 at his home, while under the care of Hospice of Western Reserve.
He was born on November 22, 1920 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico; moving to Lorain 54 years ago.
He was employed for 28 years at Ford Motor Company, Brookpark Plant in the Casting Plant, retiring in 1980.
Cesareo was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel and the Holy Name Society and St. Vincent De Paul Society of the church and the United Auto Workers Union Local 1250.
He enjoyed making guitars, woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Luisa (nee Rivera) Delgado; son, Angel Luis Pagan, of Grafton; daughters, Hilda Fazekas of Grafton, Carmen Pomales of Mt. Dora, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother, Catalino Pagan of Puerto Rico; sisters, Lilly and Belen both of Puerto Rico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Epolito Pagan and Juana (nee Delgado) Pagan; a daughter, Sara Pagan in 1948; a sister, Christina Pagan; and a brother, Jose Pagan.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:45 am in followed by mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
