Charles F. Bernas

Charles F. Bernas, age 75, of Cleveland, died on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at O'Neill Healthcare of Lakewood, following a lengthy illness.
Born May 19, 1939 in Lorain, he lived in Lorain most of his life. He was a 1957 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lorain. Charles worked at various factories over the years, retiring from Production Experts in 1973.
Charles was survived by his brother, Thomas G. Bernas of New Jersey; cousins, Richard Bernas of Cincinnati, Robert Webber and Sheryl Bernas both of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir and Matilda (nee Koma) Bernas.
Graveside services for Charles are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Rev. Fr. John Retar, pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
