Charles Dallos, age 88, of Avon, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Born January 25, 1932 in Lorain, he graduated from Clearview High School in 1950 and went on to study pharmacy in college. In 1955, Charles received certification form the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and began a 30+ year career as a pharmacist. During the 1960’s and 1970’s, he owned and operated a pharmacy in Avon Lake. Charles went on to work as a pharmacist for various pharmacies thought Lorain county.
Charles enjoyed the outdoors and in his younger days he liked snowmobiling,
Surviving is his sister in laws, Mary Dallos of Virginia, Kathrine Dallos of Lorain and Margaret Dallos of Lorain; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Dallos; parents, John and Theresa (Nemes) Dallos; brothers, Andrew, William, Paul, John, Steve and Frank; and sisters, Theresa Bedo and Helen Dallos.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremations Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Peter Toth, pastor of Hungarian Reformed Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. To send online condolences go to www.dovinfcs.com.
