Charles Harkless

Charles Harkless, age 77, of Lorain, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.

Born November 26, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia he settled in Lorain in 1959.

Charles worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company Lorain Assembly Plant for 20 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the United Autoworkers Union Local 2000.

Surviving is his son, Bobby D. Harkless of Lorain; a brother, Cary Harkless; and sisters, Anna Baker, Juanita Harkless, Glenna Onfry and Phyllis Parsons.

He was preceded to by his parents, Leff and Pruda (nee Mullins); and 6 brothers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Lorri Bandagski will officiate
