Charlotte B. Podomnik, (nee Palagyi), age 74, of Lorain, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born May 2, 1930 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. She was a 1949 graduate of Lorain High School.
She worked at General Industries in Elyria for 5 years during the 1950s as an inspector.
She was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Lorain. Her greatest delight where her children.
Surviving is her son William Podomnik II, of Amherst, daughters, Mary Tina Gregg, and Jessica Paige, both of Amherst, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William, in 2001, and her parents, Steve Palagyi and Mary (nee Kuhn) Palagyi.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. by Pastor Mark Pemberton of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Amherst.
