Christine Bobrowski-Garza

Christine Joyce Bobrowski-Garza, age 51 of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2023 at her residence.

Born June 7, 1972 to Walter “Bubbles” and Paulette (nee Schilling) Bobrowski in Lorain, Christine spent most of her life in Lorain, graduating from Lorain High School in 1990.  She spent a few years in St. Petersburg, Florida and later in Virginia before returning home to Lorain. 

She enjoyed family dinners, sitting on the patio with family and friends, music, dancing, bonfires, and spending time on the beach. Christine was a loving person with a big heart who had compassion for everyone.  She enjoyed taking care of friends and family, especially her nephew Gabriel. She also had a passion for animals.

Surviving are both of her parents; sisters, Laura Bobrowski and Sheri Bobrowski; nephew, Gabriel Gonzalez; aunt, Barbara Bacevice; cousins, John Kolcun and Brianna (Greg) Edinger as well as her close friends, Ada, Betsy, Amanda and Jeanette.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter K. and Helen Bobrowski; maternal grandparents, Donald and Constance Schilling; uncle, Daniel “Danny” Bobrowski as well as her dog, Snoopy.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
