Christine Boldon

Christine D. Boldon (nee Nichols) age 63, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a lengthy illness.

Born April 12, 1959 to Okey and Frances (nee Patrick) Nichols in Cleveland, Ohio, Christine moved to Lorain in the 1990s.  She attended Lorain County Community College.

She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, playing bingo and loved reading.  She especially loved her time with her grandchildren, family and friends and godson.

Surviving are her children, Kimberly Grimes, John Walker and Melissa Boldon; brothers, Teddy and Okey Jr.; sister, Michelle Carlo; special nieces and nephews, Cassie (Timothy) Carter Wilson, Dorothy (Wayne) Weldon, Shanell (David) Noble, Christine (Ryan) McElhaney, Kimberly (Ty) Meinecke, Veronica Hill and Burrell (Dyanna) Carter Jr.; boyfriend, Herman Wren Jr., godchildren, Frank Janezic and Addison as well as a host of other nieces and nephews she cherished.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; sisters, Betty Carter, Kathy Coffee, Susan Nichols, and Sandi Carter as well as her brothers, George and Robert Wayne.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
