Cleo Sizemore (nee Woolum), 92, of Lorain, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 6, 1919 in Willum, Ky. to the late James and Katherine (nee Tincher) Woolum, she has been a Lorain resident for the past 44 years.
Cleo was a homemaker and a member of West Ridge Enterprise Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Surviving are her sons, Albert of Lorain, Paul of Elyria, and Ray of Pineville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 13 great great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James in 1956; and daughters, Nellie M. Collett in 2011, Irene Collett and Lou Smith.
The family will receive friends today from 1:30 pm until the time of services at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Burial will follow. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
