Cruz "Crucita" Pagan

Crucita Pagan Cruz, age 77, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 1, 1932 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, moving here 25 years ago.
Crucita was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel. She enjoyed knitting, reading the Bible, listening to classical Spanish music, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Angel Otero, Joe Otero, Rosendo Otero and step-son, Juan A. Otero, all of Lorain, daughters, Iris Otero, Hilda (Jose) Ayala, and Carmen Otero, all of Lorain, 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren, brothers, Felix Pagan, of Catano, PR, Gabriel Pagan of Hato Rey, PR, Iraquio Pagan, of Catano, PR, Jose Pagan of NY,NY and Carlos Pagan of Caguas, PR, sisters, Antonia Pagan, of Catano, PR, Eloina of Lorain, and Alta Gracia Pagan of Manati, PR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Otero in 1969, father, Gabriel Pagan in 1975 and mother, Hortensia Cruz in 1942 and brother, Carlitos in 1942.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9th from 7-9 p.m. at the House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gilbert Silva and Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor of Sacred Heart Chapel will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Dovin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
