Cynthia J. "Cindi" Tomlin (nee Cook), 59, of Lorain, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 18, 1953 in Akron, she has been a Lorain resident for the past 25 years.
Cindi was a 1972 graduate of Akron East High School. She enjoyed gardening, music, her pets, and was an avid fan of NASCAR and Kevin Harvick. Cindi's favorite music artist was Ozzy Osbourne.
Surviving is her daughter, Danielle Cook of Lorain; her best friend, Kathi Tolson of Lorain; her aunt, Merle Ann Blenkenship of Akron; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel A. Tomlin in 1998; her parents, Frank Cook in 1972 and Levona (nee Kittle) Cook in 2003; brothers, William A. Cook in 2004, and Frank Ol Cook in 2008.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
