Dale Furci

Dale L. Furci, age 70, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center  West, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 13, 1934 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
He was a 1953 graduate of Lorain High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as an Airman 2nd Class. He earned the National Defense Service Medal.
He enjoyed sports.
Dale is survived by his son: Jim Furci, of Vermilion, daughter: Melanie Summers, of Kirtland, and step-daughter: Margaret Mendiola of Strongsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Adam Furci in 1987 and Evelyn M. (nee Fox) in 1978.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004 in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., at 2:00 p.m. Louis Paul Proy Chapter #20 of the Disabled American Veterans will provide full military honors.
