Daryl M. Lasky, age 52, of Elyria, passed away Friday, November 9 2018 at his residence.
Daryl was born on October 2, 1966 in Lorain and attended Otterbein University and Bowling Green State University in Ohio and Chapman University in California.
He worked as a grant writer for Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, a hospital in Palm Springs, California and for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Ohio. Daryl enjoyed going to concerts and dining out with friends and family.
He is survived by his special caregivers, his aunts, Mary Jane Goodwin and Helen Truskolaski; cousins, Kimberly (Stephen) Jones, Brian (Laura Kalamets) Goodwin and Kathy Andulics. He also leaved behind his uncles, Robert (Mary Ann) Lasky, Edward Truskolaski, and William James; and an aunt, Kathryn Kenzik. He also had many cousins and a special friend, Gary Castro of California.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Joan Lasky in 2017.
A memorial service for Daryl will be held at a later date. The Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
