Dominga "Delia" Beltran, (nee Hernandez Ortiz), age 81, of Lorain, died on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Lorain Community Health Partners Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born on May 10, 1927 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, moving to this area in 1967.
Delia was employed at Dechant Green House in Avon for 9 years, retiring in the 1980's.
She was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Misionera Church.
Delia enjoyed preparing meals for Special Community Events, for churches and weddings, also enjoyed shopping, gardening and music.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rafael, sons: Rafael, Jr., Abraham, Alberto, Luis and Victor, all of Lorain, daughters: Carmen Rivera, Mayra Diaz, Margarita Beltran, Mercedes Serrano, Migdalia Flecha, Milagros Beltran and Olga Beltran, all of Lorain, 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, in the Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Misionera Church, 1930 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held the following morning at 11:00 am. The Rev. David Figueroa, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. Ohio. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
