Dianne M. Demyan, (nee Casto), age 64, of Lorain, died on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at her home following a sudden illness.
She was born on January 26, 1940 in Lorain where she has been a lifelong resident. She was a 1959 graduate of Lorain High School.
Dianne was employed as a receptionist for Realty One, Amherst since 1997. From 1990 1996 she worked at Union Eye Care, Amherst as a receptionist at the front desk. Prior to this she was employed as an accounting clerk at Lorain Works US Steel where she retired in 1979 after working there 19 years. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Womens Democratic Party and the Romanian Club, Lorain.
She enjoyed cooking, helping others and she adored her pet dogs.
She is survived by her daughter: Victoria Salvetta, of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Andrew in 1997, parents: Dan and Victoria (nee Dates) Boeriu.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where Rev. William Schill, deacon at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lorain will officiate.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Dianne M. Demyan Trust Fund at Lorain National Bank or to Alcoholics Anonymous in Lorain County at 577 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Ohio 44052.
