Dorothy Mae "Dot" Fazekas (nee Unger), age 90, of Elyria, died on Friday, May 20, 2005 in Elyria.
"Dot" was born to Clarence and Hazel Unger on May 16, 1915, in Lorain.
She and her husband, Bill owned Bill's Cigar Store on Broadway Ave., in Lorain, for many years.
After retiring 30 years ago, she and her husband moved to Pine Island, FL. She had just recently returned to Lorain County to be with her family.
"Dot" was an avid and skilled card player, especially the game, "66." She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going Bowling. She and her husband were well-known in bowling-circles in their younger days, also traveling to tournaments and winning many trophies.
Survivors include daughters; Judy Ferner (Bill) and Barbara Flowers (Ray), sons; William and Dennis (Jan), 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, a special nephew, David Yuhas, and very special friends; Marty and Janice Trelka and Jerry and Carolyn Ofer.
Preceding her in death is her husband of 60 years, Bill, her parents; Clarence and Hazel Unger, and a sister Margaret Yuhas.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
