Dorothy L. Pashko, (nee Dobish), 77, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
Born Aug. 16, 1928 in Pennsylvania, she has lived in Lorain since 1948.
Dorothy was a wonderful wife and the best mother and homemaker and a best friend a daughter could ever have.
She was a former member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lorain.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sharon Pashko, of Lorain and with whom she made her home with for the past 10 years; a brother, John Dobish Jr. and his wife Jessie of Lemont Furnace, PA; sisters, Frances Frye of Independence, West Virginia, and Patty Brooks and her husband Doug, of Atlanta, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William W. Pashko, in 2002; her parents, John Dobish and Ann (nee Horvath) Dobish; and a sister, Ann Dobish Shipley on July 16, 2005.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA. Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Uniontown, PA. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain is handling local arrangements.
