Dorothy F. Pawlowski, (nee Losiewicz), age 75, of Lorain, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a short illness.
She was born Oct. 10, 1931 in Lorain. She has lived in Lorain her entire life.
Dorothy worked for Sears as a parts sales woman in the service department in Brookpark for 26 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lorain, and had served as president of the former St. Stanislaus School PTA.
She enjoyed reading, cleaning her house, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her sons, David R. and Daniel J., both of Avon Lake, Michael W. of Lorain; a daughter, Karen Boyce of Amherst; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Peter Pawlowski in 2005; her parents, William Losiewicz and Frances (nee Szklarek) Losiewicz.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, W. 7th and Reid Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Daniel Divis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
